We’re pleased to share details of SSAFA Northern Ireland’s Annual Fundraising Lecture, taking place on Wednesday 11 March 2026 at the Lagan Valley Island Centre, Lisburn.

Doors open at 6pm with a reception in the rotunda, followed by a fascinating lecture from a well-known and respected guest speaker, General The Lord Dannatt GCB CBE MC DL.

Entitled “Korea – War Without End”, the lecture will explore the enduring legacy through the insights and reflections of one of Britain’s most respected soldiers. It promises to be a fascinating evening for veterans, military historians, serving personnel and all those with an interest in the lasting lessons of conflict and peace.

Supported by a musical ensemble from The Band of The Royal Irish Regiment, along with a book launch, sale and signing by the guest speaker.
