We would like to share an opportunity for female veterans and female family members connected to service to take part in an important discussion on women’s representation within the new museum exhibition, UNTOLD Stories of the Irish in the British Army, at the Northern Ireland Military Museum.
If you served, supported someone who served, or worked within the MOD, this is your chance to shape how women’s stories are reflected in this new space.
You are invited if you are:
🟢 A woman who served in any of the three Services at any time in the UK Armed Forces
🟢 A female family member of someone who served including siblings, parents, grandparents, children or grandchildren
🟢 A former MOD civil servant
The workshops are delivered in partnership with Dr Hannah West from The Centre for Military Women’s Research.
Sessions will use archive artefacts to open the floor to discussions and give you the opportunity to contribute ideas for future museum displays and programming.
You will also have the chance to review early museum designs and share what you would like to see represented.
If you would like to take part, please email Annie at engagement@irishuntold.com and confirm which session suits you:
